Sticks & Bricks | Small Business Spotlight

Sticks & Bricks, a vintage furniture store and showroom, opened 13+ years ago and has been located at 9 Market Street, Northampton. They offer original made pieces and vintage furniture as well as a selection of other artists’ work. As the business has grown and times have changed, owner Liz Karney is moving the business to 90 King Street, Northampton at the end of the month.

The new space is larger, has easier parking, great light, and is a project in and of itself. Who better than Liz to design and build it out? To help with the build-out costs, Liz contacted Valley about the MGCC Biz M Power crowdfunding grant. Liz applied and ran a campaign for 15 days to help raise money. Thanks to her customers and community, Liz met her goal and is in the final stages of the build-out.

Keep an eye out for the grand opening at the end of the month when you can stop in and explore the pieces Liz has created that bring history and character into the modern world.
